#54 You’re Invited: Free 90 Min Masterclass to Get Your AI-Flywheel Spinning

Happy Friday Reader!

Sometimes, an event and the conversations around it stay with you long after it’s over—you just know it was a good one.

That’s exactly how I felt last week after tuning into the Leading with AI Charter Summit in New York

And yes, I was up at 5 AM for it (thank you, perimenopause insomnia! 😅).

But honestly? Worth it.

I was planning to give you a neat little summary of my takeaways, but instead, I want to start with something bigger:

AI adoption isn’t really about technology. It’s about curiosity.

Because here’s the thing: If you’re not curious about AI, you won’t make time for it. And if you don’t make time for it, you’ll never see its value.

So the real question is: How do we ignite that curiosity in the first place?

The 80-10-10 Rule of AI Adoption

The best way to spark curiosity? Showcase the value of AI to people who are still on the fence.

At the summit, Dan Shipper, Co-founder & CEO of Every, broke down how people approach AI in the real world:

🔹 10% are early adopters—they dive in, experiment, and figure things out on their own.
🔹 10% are outright resistors—the “I don’t do AI” crowd.
🔹 80% are interested but need guidance—they want to start, but they’re busy and don’t know where to begin.

Which group do you fall into?

The Reality Check

We often assume people don’t want to adopt AI.
But the truth?

Most people just haven’t found their personal entry point of curiosity yet.

Then there’s the 10% who resist AI altogether.
Ironically, they’re often the ones who need upskilling the most.

So, should we just leave them behind? 🤷‍♀️

At what point do we stop trying to spark AI curiosity?

When do we say, if someone doesn’t want to try, maybe this isn’t for them?

Here’s the Truth:

No one can be left behind!

We have to find ways to ignite also their curiosity in a way that resonates with them.

When AI feels relevant and personal, everything changes.

If you’re resistant to AI, what you’re really missing isn’t technical skills.

You’re missing empowerment.

And that’s exactly why I created The Digital Fluency Flywheel™—a four-step learning system that helps you discover how AI can actually benefit you by fusing human skills with upskilling.

The problem with most AI training programs? Too technical, too fast, too boring, too overwhelming.

There’s a reason we don’t like reading technical manuals. 😉

They often lack a structured system, making learning feel random and disjointed—like being handed a pile of puzzle pieces with no picture to follow.

They also assume you’re already curious about AI.

But what if you’re not there yet?

💡 If you don’t see AI’s value, you resist and won’t make time for it.
💡 But once you understand how AI actually helps you and you see why, curiosity kicks in—and suddenly, everything changes.

The focus shifts from anonymous tech to YOU.

That’s the secret.

So here’s my last question for you:

How do we go now from curiosity → confidence?

Happy Friday Reader! You know what I hear all the time? "I have no time to play with AI!" Whether it’s a 19-year-old student swamped with studying, a 45-year-old professional juggling a full-time job, three kids, aging parents, or a 65-year-old woman in retirement, that line keeps coming up. Honestly, I get it. But here’s the thing—I can’t hear it anymore. We’re all busy. You, me, even my 7-year-old, who insists she has no time to clean her room. If the idea of ‘playing’ with yet another AI...

Happy Friday Reader! when a 4 AM Amber Alert jolts you awake with a false evacuation warning, and your kids are making videos with their dolls about the fire, you realize this isn’t going to be your typical CES newsletter. I was excited to share my show highlights with you today, but instead, I want to begin with gratitude: we're safe. While the LA fire is dangerously close, and the air quality is worsening in Venice Beach, we’re not in the evacuation zone. Your messages checking in on us,...

Happy Friday Reader! Last week I caught myself doing something that would have made my privacy-conscious German self from five years ago cringe—I asked ChatGPT to analyze my entire LinkedIn profile, name and all, without a second thought. And I ended up opening a can of worms… Every privacy guide starts with, “DO NOT share personal data like names with AI!” Oops, too late, I thought. Growing up in Germany, where data privacy is as sacred as punctuality and order, I’ve lost count of the days...
