#57 Turns Out, My Best Career & Life Coach Is an AI Chatbot

Happy Saturday Reader!

I’m back in LA after weeks of traveling through Europe — and having way too much fun skiing with 15 incredible women. ❄️🎿

In the background, I was also quietly finishing a program called Working Out Loud (WOL)— a 9-week journey where you meet weekly with four other women, each working toward their own goals.

Today, I want to share how AI helped me unpack limiting beliefs that had held me back for so long — and how, over nine weeks, I finally reclaimed my story.

Here’s What Happened Over the Last 9 Weeks…

When I started the WOL program, I had one clear mission: I wanted to increase my visibility as an AI upskilling expert — not just to be seen, but to truly make an impact and get paid for it.

Growing up in Schwabenland, Germany, I lived by one rule:

"Success only comes through hard work."

And that’s exactly how I built my life:
Early mornings.

Giving everything.

Working quietly in the background — mostly for others, rarely for myself.

Even after 13 years in California, speaking internationally on AI and helping over 2,000 people, that old voice still whispered:

"You need to work harder to deserve success."

Deep down, though, I knew:

That false belief has to go.

AI Gave Me a Mirror I Couldn’t Hold Up Myself

At the end of Working Out Loud, we were asked to write our "ATE story" —
Anfang "A" (Beginning), Transformation "T" , Ende "E" (End).

And honestly?
I hit a wall.

Nine weeks of notes, reflections, and feedback —
all swirling in my head, a wirrwarr of thoughts and emotions.

When I sat down to capture my transformation, all I saw was a blank page.

That’s when curiosity whispered:

"Why don’t you ask ChatGPT for help?"

Skeptical but intrigued, I set up a Project folder in ChatGPT called "WOL Learning Journey" - my personal AI diary.

I uploaded everything I found:

✅ 9 weeks of homework

✅ Reflection journals

✅ Feedback notes

✅ Program exercises

Then I asked:

"Can you help me find the patterns?
What themes am I circling?
What caused my transformation?
What roadblocks was I facing?"

And then...

Boom.

In minutes, ChatGPT connected the dots I couldn’t see myself.

Here’s what it surfaced:

  • I defined getting money as proof of my worth.
  • I minimized my impact because I wasn’t seeing immediate financial success.
  • I didn’t feel like enough unless I was constantly doing more.

Ugh. Called out.
But also... wow.

Because tucked inside all that hustle, ChatGPT reminded me of my true mission:

"Helping women move from AI overwhelm into confident action is success — even if it doesn’t show up right away in Quickbooks."

Whoa.

That’s when it clicked:

I’m not just building a business to make money (even though, yes — I deserve to be paid for transformation work). I’m building a movement:

✨ A movement for women to step into their future, powerfully and tech-confidently. ✨

Transformation: Redefining Success

During these last nine weeks, I didn’t just collect wins —
I reclaimed my story:

  • My certified Digital Fluency Flywheel method & index
  • My partnership with Bitkom
  • My AI Skilling Expert Role with Microsoft
  • My journey from Schwabenland, to Airbnb, to Venice Beach

I created a Love Diary — a collection of everything I’ve built over the years.

And for the first time, I could see it clearly:

"Success isn’t just financial freedom. It’s the transformation I create — helping people move from overwhelm to action."

I Let AI Help Me Write My Ending

ChatGPT gave me one last nudge:

"What would you tell your daughters about this chapter of your life?"

Cue the tears. (And even more during our final Zoom circle, where we "showered" each other with reflections and gratitude.)

AI Isn’t Just for Business Use Cases

For me, AI has become:

✨ A mirror.
✨ A personal coach.
✨ A gentle, empathic reflection partner.

I use it to see myself more clearly — to recognize my patterns, blind spots, and growth.

And now?

I’ve regained the trust in myself that I lost somewhere along the way — chasing financial freedom without seeing the bigger picture, I was creating.

And Yes, There’s Always a Trade-Off

Sharing vulnerable reflections with AI made me pause about privacy.

I optimize my settings — but like any support system (AI, au pairs, mentors), there’s a trade-off:

Less privacy.
More help.

And for me?
The growth, clarity, and breakthroughs are worth it.

Here’s My Invitation to You

Next time you feel stuck — not with a project, but with yourself — try this:

  • Dump your notes, journals, or voice memos into ChatGPT (or another trusted chatbot).
  • Create a Project or train a Custom GPT.
  • Ask:
"Can you help me reflect on this? What patterns do you notice?"

Then:

  • Breathe.
  • Read what it gives you.
  • Cry a little if you need to. (Highly recommended.)
  • And create your story

Because sometimes, all you need is the courage to look — and now, you have a mirror in your handbag, 24/7.

The only thing you have to do....is beeing brave enough to look.

Happy Friday Reader! What Happened This Week I cloned myself with AI – and it changed the way I think.
